RNY Field Hockey provides Rochester-area field hockey athletes with an organized, professionally-run field hockey club experience. Our coaches are full-time college coaches who love to work with athletes who aspire to play college field hockey OR just want to make their JV or Varsity teams. 

We offer a variety of field hockey programs, including leagues and travel teams. 

TRAVEL TEAMS:

We offer travel teams for players in 8th grade through 12th grade and organize our teams into Aspire and Select based on age and grade level. 

ASPIRE: 10th through 12th grade

SELECT: 8th through 10th grade 

Our travel teams practice at our RNY indoor facility - 1520 John Street in Henrietta. Practices will be on SUNDAYS from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM starting November 30th and running through May 31st. 

Our travel teams play in a variety of tournaments in Rochester, Buffalo, Syracuse and Binghamton in the winter and spring. We offer showcase events for those hoping to play college field hockey as well. 

LEAGUES: athletes from 7th to 12th grade can register for our leagues. We have a winter, spring and summer league. Athletes register independently and are placed with school teammates. 

2026 League dates: 

High School WINTER LEAGUE: Sundays - January 4, 11, 18, 25
ADULT/COLLEGE LEAGUE: Sundays - February 1, 8, 15, 22
High School SPRING LEAGUE: Sundays - March 1, 8, 15, 22
 

RNYFC- Youth Field Hockey is a not-for-profit (501c3) organization.  All player tuition covers actual costs to run the program with a net zero revenue each year. Financial assistance is available for families with demonstrated need. Our professional coaching and operations staff are hired for their technical and administrative expertise and are required to complete NYS risk management and background checks.  Each of our coaches holds or pursues USA Field Hockey's Level I and II coaching licenses.
